Sorry to restart and old thread. How does one go about getting a New ROM if the VA refuses to accept anything that isn't from them? I'm not far enough out to get a new C&P exam even though I've asked for a new one several times.

Does anyone know how much VA considers the type of provider taking your ROM measurements for recon purposes? What I mean is the type of doctor, today I met with an orthopedic surgeon and found out ill need a third back surgery. The orthopedic doc did a ROM on me but didn't use a goinometer but...

That looks like what I'm going to to have to do if my second "one time" VA recon doesn't go through. I'll go for my VA reconsideration once I'm out and then go to the Board of corrections with the new rating for my unfitting condition.

They did receive it my attorney wrote a memo for the rating upgrade for my back and ankle with the 2 pages of my NARSUM with the new ROM highlighted.
