Retirement Process for Air Force (PDBR)

Thank you. I don’t understand how I was able to get my ID, but 5hry can’t send my package to DFAS. Unreal.

Retirement Process for Air Force (PDBR)

Got a call from someone at DFAS stating the PDBR has not sent my package and that they cannot do anything until they do. They said they have not received anything from PDBR FOR MONTHS! Anyone have any other contact info? I’ve called an emailed those DFAS contacts multiple times and today was...

Retirement Process for Air Force (PDBR)

Perci75, my fingers are crossed for you. I am still waiting for my new orders and DD214. My SBP was done the first week of June, I received a directive and email for it, but still nothing. So frustrating! Hearing this about DFAS is so discouraging, especially with email, fax, and scanning so...

    Questions

As far as I can tell, they only look at the reason for your initial separation. They did not take into account any of my VA ratings that were done after I was discharged.

Retirement Process for Air Force (PDBR)

Well, I guess it's time to find someone who matters like Perci75 did? Maybe that is the push we are needing? I've emailed that contact and called that number so many times! They screen it for sure. Once they did pick up after I had contacted my local AFB for SBP briefing and she had no idea who...

Retirement Process for Air Force (PDBR)

Perci75, thank you so so much for the contact info. It's hopefully a step to some answers sooner rather than later. I spent 50mins on hold with MyPers at 7am PST yesterday; while I was on hold, I submitted a request electronically for assistance. When I actually got a person, they saw my...

    So Very Frustrated

Seriously? I see this happens a lot. Wonder if someone is monitoring the forum under cover lol Ms. Adams told me the same thing; basically, once she sends it off, we can contact PDBR for status updates. Who exactly would our representative be? Ugh. Time to start drafting some letters I suppose...

    So Very Frustrated

Hi, Perci! Thank you so very much for your response. Fingers crossed for four months vs. another twelve. I will definitely keep everyone posted, and will add a timeline to help others "guesstimate" as I get further in the process. I keep reading here that the AF is the slowest of the branches...

    Approved...timeline and a question

This is scary for me because they told me I was better off adding my spouse after I get my ID, but I was also told we only have one year from our marriage to add him. One year would be March 2019, and I only had my SBP briefing in June. I haven't been able to get any updates via email, even...
