I received my proposed ratings back in July, I made a successful written appeal, signed my 199 on 16 October. My very bad MSC called to do an exit interview on 20 October. I log-in to VA.gov and ebenefits, and I only see a pending claim. What is the process to get my VA claim finalized?

Sir, yes I am. The codes are annotated on Section V of the DA 199, thus referred to, in the Army, as V Codes. V3 is under conditions simulating war. Thanks, it looks as if there will not be withholding.

Sir, still 20%, I appealed the lack of V3/V4 code which was successful. In my situation, 20% with 100% is financially much better, as my spouse is AD and over 20 years, so TRICARE will not be an issue as I will have his. My severance pay will be approximately 225K, and with the V3/V4 code...

I successfully made a written appeal for a V3/V4 Code for my 20% DoD / 100% P&T VA ratings. Does anyone know if taxes will still be withheld from my severance?

Update, I received by successful appeal results and corrected 199 on 2 October - V3/4 Code - knee injury on obstacle course. I signed my 20% DoD / 100% P&T VA 199, and I should be on my way out soon.

Update - it has now been almost 5 weeks since submission. It is a request for a V4 code.

Does anyone have experience with the timeline for a written IPEB appeal? I submitted a three paragraph appeal three weeks ago.

Received my ratings lightning fast (Army). I am 20% DoD / 100% P&T VA. The PEB made a false statement on the 199 wherein it states that I reinjured a knee by "running and various field exercises." This is untrue, I tore my ACL for the second time (first time while in the Army) on the Air...

My issue is I’m a severance case, and with one more condition with a rating, then I overcome recoupment because I’m 100% without my unfitting condition. So, I think it may be worth it?

What if the VA invited a claim on the 100% T&P proposed ratings, would they go back an re-look at the ratings if I file for the claim I was invited to file?

I have had 7 knee surgeries on one knee, and the C&P exam annotated no surgical history or surgical scars - it is that bad... But, that information is, clearly, found in my treatment history and is reflected on my NARSUM. I am, admittedly, venting a little because I was prepared to ask for a...

Adding that I did not specifically request a new exam in the rebuttal, as I was able to see my specialist who wrote a 5 page AHLTA note that aligned with the DBQ, and I have supplemental physical therapy records with ROM readings.

It looks like I have successfully garnered a new C&P exam with my MEB rebuttal. But with the freeze on exams, I now am delayed even further. Would you fight to just use the deficient exam and treatment records to move the case forward, or have a thoroughly delayed case? I am already on 6 months...
