    I have an issue with the medical board after 10 years of no respond to me no information just that they are waiting for a decision and when it came they where going to give me retire and then they change it to, severance pay and nothing else, i need help badly, i am sick of the army, and my benefits never comes i do have a 30%.

    Hello I talked with you a while back... I signed my AD memo July 29... I waiting for the 199.. When I ask me peblo to check the transaction history.. It said.aug 23.Tx..typing....to be work list... Charles Oliver ..when i ask what did this all means.. he was confused about what was going on with my case ... I received my va rating and 199 type back in may....could you help shine some light on what this all means...

    Hello, how are you? Off course I have a question about my IDES process lol. I called the VA number and they said my packet was missing paperwork, which they then received it on 26 July. They have had my packet since 10 June. The question is what happens after my packet got the missing paper work? Where did it go? Back to the end of line or to the next step? Sooo confused! Thank You.

    Unfortunately it is anybody's guess what happens at the VA. That being said, your case likely would proceed from where it was when they requested the documents. It can take upwards of 180 days from the time they get your case from the PEB to when you get your ratings.

    Hopefully, it doesn't take that long, but this is definitely a place where patience helps.

    Rating came into the system but not into me yet how long do you think it will be till I get those in paper?

    Thank you peblo11 I got 30x90 I appreciate youre in the world we have no insight into, Yes the VA tracker and another one the peblo hasn't said what that one is but both say sitting at PEB for 199. But I havnt received my addendum for the CAD can the PEB still hold my MEB ratings till the addendum is put in?

    Chances are more than good that they will hold your case until you get the adjustment disorder memo. It is possible, and I've had more than a few, that they can make a determination that your adjustment disorder doesn't need the memo, but it is more likely they will request it.

    Your PEBLO and IDES team at your MTF should have been doing the memo for anyone who had an AD, rather than waiting for the PEB to ask for it. That is what we call being proactive.

    What would I be losing if i cancelled my MEB and just got out as my ets date is sept 6 and my MEB is just causing problems in the unit. "We basically have a giant target on our heads"

    You would lose possible retirement versus ets with nothing, or severance pay versus nothing from the Army. The VA will still give benefits for service related issues. You really don't want to drop the MEB.

    If i don't drop the MEB I may be reduced in rank.... and severance isn't going to be a lot Im sure ive been in 3 years and 2 knee surgeries but not severe enough to need a knee brace or a cane. But it is severe enough for it to hurt all the time.... severance you have to pay back right?? or there is a delay in youre VA payment right??

    I have been trying to figure out how to private messege you for the timeline of my MEB you spoke of. I appologize, Im not that familiar with this site. Im not sure if this is what you ment. I have read numerous posts of your and thank you for posting such knowledgeable and usefull information.

    I signed my 199 yesterday (25JUL2013) around 1000. How long it takes for the estimated out date to be in the system?

    I can't speak for things at your post but, if everything processes normally, you will be separated no later than 90 days. Your name should come down on TRANSPROC within 2 weeks, and then separation orders generally follow about 2 weeks after that. Your PEBLO will probably see your name, with your drop dead date in PDIR in ePEB as early as next week.

    Do you know if there is a certain order that the soldiers with AD on their 199 getting review and prep for the memo to get complete??? Not getting any information through my peblo accept we just waiting for the ok to proceed.

    i meant to say back to BH... he not really putting no info out accept that they dont have any guidance on what to do with the case that is already at peb... do you know the process of that order

    The guidance is out there. We got a ton of returns from the PEB. Some had already signed their DA199 before all of this started. Even those cases are supposed to go back to BH to get a memo addressing whether or not the adjustment disorder is acute or chronic, and whether it meets or fails retention standards.

    Once they get that memo, they are supposed to present it to you. You get to make an election on whether or not you want an IMR or appeal, then it gets sent back to the PEB. Once the PEB gets the memo, with your signature and election, then they will allow your case to finish.

    An individual with adjustment disorder for more than six months should be diagnostic with PTSD? I was thinking to bring this to my PEBLO to see if my case could move forward with a diffrent diagnostic, let me know what you know about this, thanks in advanced.

    That is not always the case. The reason for the disorder is the criteria for PTSD vs adjustment disorder. The DSM is pretty clear on the diagnosis of PTSD. I personally think adjustment disorder is sometimes used when it likely could have been PTSD or another behavioral diagnosis.

    The only way your case can move ahead with another Dx would be to ask for an IMR and hope the provider gives a different diagnosis, and then file an appeal and hope that goes your way. This is only at the MEB level, not the PEB.
