I have been dealing with bilateral hips pain for over a six months. I have had MRIs in my both hips. and they found left hip lebaral tear and my right hip is very painful and needs to be surgery.
I have been on profile 251 days. My PCM did not mention about MED Board or permanent profile yet. I am in contanst pain but am not sure what a surgery will do to my chances of being medically retired at 30 % if I can even get that high.
If feasible, can I ask my provider (ctmc) recommending me a Med Board?
Should I get try to get a surgery during the MEB process if he recommend?
