Yes I do have ebennies and I check it about 4 times a day. Yes I am going through the iDES process. Just got a call today that my stuff had been sent back to my PCM and when I asked him why he said that the VA doesn't usually consider headaches service connected by themselves. I just cant...

    I need an answer...and fast!!!

It is worse than a migraine. So I am sure they will rate it just based on the migraine. However apparently the VA doesnt belive mine is service connected.

Thanks for the info. I knew all that all ready. I mean I do suffer from them. I just am curious if the VA is going to actually give me a rating for this and if so what does it fall under? If not why not?

Super Amazing Funtime AF Med Board!

My base is the same way. You gotta learn to do everything by yourself because the only person who is gonna take care of you is yourself. Call the VA and AFPC yourself. Its what I do.

    I need an answer...and fast!!!

That was my impression that all headaches fell under migranes. However I am really confused about the whole service connected thing. I developed headaches while in service. Nothing TBI related but who know if the exposures I have had have not caused it. But now the VA is trying to tell me that...

    I need an answer...and fast!!!

I don't suffer from migraines but froma rare form of cluster headaches. This is the only ciondition I am being MEB'd for but have claimed other things. My package was sent from the VA back to my doctor for clarification. I asked the doctor what was wrong with it and the doctor told me that the...

    PTSD? I can't discuss it.

I agree with Aviator. You gotta live with yourself forever. Your command and your clearance aren't gonna be there for you 50 years down the road if you are having issues. Find someone that you can talk to it about. Your health is the most important thing you have.

    Graves Disease

Others can chime in but I think they can deny your disabilty if you refuse treatment. Someone else in here probably can give you a better answer. I know that for me after being on 20 different meds I didn't want to take anymore because they werent working but my advocate recommended I continue...

    Unknown Issue..?

Dont know what I am getting yet just know I am unfit. That is the hardest part is the unknown, that is why it is important for you to start planning for the worst now and hoping for the best.

    Unknown Issue..?

Average is a year. Mine has been a mess all because I asked for a second opinion on a tumor I had in my sinus cavity which they were going to do nothing about (I just had it removed 1.5 months ago...I fought the good fight). It also depends where you are stationed. Some places are better than...

    Unknown Issue..?

Initally I wanted to stay in but after 20 months in the system I am have deicded I would rather go on with my life. And yes the AF has pretty much said that they will let the VA take care of me. The wonderous system of government healthcare...

    Unknown Issue..?

You gotta fight for it. If it seriously is hurt then you got to make it known that it affects your ability to run. It is all you can do. If it comes back good then it was worth the fight and if comes back not what you wanted then you have to fight harder. In my case, I was still found unfit even...
