    Walter Reed Timeline

My timeline is almost exactly what yours is. My thread is here with yours (installation formerly known as "Fort Rucker"). My NARSUM came back on the 6th of December. Legal brief was 11 DEC and NARSUM was submitted to PEB that day. I haven't heard anything since. I did have an expedite memo...

Timeline-Installation Formerly Known as Fort Rucker

From what I've been told, if you are referred for BH, the BH NARSUM can take some time. If BH isn't one of your referred conditions, I'm not sure what the holdup could be.

I'm happy to help, and I'm sorry that you've faced an unnecessary delay as so many have.

    Whats next

You can look on MEDPROS and view your profile to see if there's a second signature beside your P3 condition. If there is, Med board will be initiated. If the second signature is there, you can try to reach out to your installation's IDES office and speak to a PEBLO to see what's going on...

Received 100% Proposed Rating in March. Retired Oct 6th now VA says evidence gathering??

From what I understand, proposed ratings are just that: proposed. Once you become a Veteran (officially out of your service), the VA can then rate you. I can only assume it's more of an audit at this point, but be prepared not to get a VA payment until 1 January. It'll be back paid, of...

    Head-to-Toe Exam DBQ Timeline

Head to Toe Exam DBQ uploaded today...two weeks to the day from the exam. Some of the DBQs leave me scratching my head as they contradict themselves and some are the exact opposite of what I discussed with the examiner. I guess we'll see what happens.

    I need help and advice

Your best bet is to speak with a NG/Reserve recruiter and go over your options. There are ways, but I'm not positive what they are.

    Army expedited memo

It would help justify your expedite request, but it might not be required. You should consult your PEBLO on what is required and how you should proceed. Is there any way your potential employer can give you a conditional hiring letter with a tentative start date? My expedite memo is based on...

    Head-to-Toe Exam DBQ Timeline

From what I have seen from others (and am now experiencing myself), the Head-to-Toe exam DBQ takes about two weeks to upload into TOL. The other three DBQs uploaded in less than 24 hours. Does anyone know why this is? I'm just curious.

No longer going to be a father nor disabled veteran

I get that you're feeling desperate and hopeless. I promise you, I get it. My wife and I miscarried at 18 weeks. I've dealt with PTSD for over 18 years. I've continued to deploy as I am able to deal with the PTSD when I need to in order to get things done. However, right now, you've...

    Post-Discharge Timeline

Am I correct in assuming benefits will be retroactive to the date of discharge? I've heard in the news that the VA is de-facto not paying benefits the first month after discharge and Congressional action to correct this is forthcoming. Have any insights on this?

Found unfit by NARSUM FORWARDING TO PEB

I'm not an expert, but I believe as long as your PTSD/BH diagnosis is rated at 30% or above as your unfit condition, you'll be retired. Less than 30% and you'll get a severance. As for if the PEB agrees with the MEB findings, I couldn't tell you. It might be case-by-case, but I'm not sure.
