She just filled out paperwork on how she helps me out and did an interview over the phone as well on things she does for me and completed yesterday the on line care giver training just waiting for a home assessment date at this point.

does anyone know on average once on the social security website states pending final decision about how long does it take to render the final decision?

My wife told me she got a call today for someone to come out and do a home assessment this Friday. She applied about 2 months ago for the caregiver program. Does this mean I got approved or is this just another way to drag out the process even longer to get an approval.

How's it going, that is good I guess if your case is being adjudicated after only two years. I hope it is that fast for me I just received my ratings this Monday and hopefully don't have to wait five years to get my final ratings.

My current unfit condition is PTSD and I highly doubted if I want to appeal to add my back and radiculpathy it will change my PTSD rating. If I were to appeal could my other fitting ratings be subject to change in percentage as well?

I don't think it will drop that much and yes if it were to drop that much I will definitely be in a world of hurt finically. My 70% is higher then my 100% VA.

Can you get the rating from your local VA in person? If so what department will I get it from? I live like 3 blocks and would rather just get it in person since I don't have a fax machine.
