That TOTALLY sucks! I've been on a regimen of naproxen for the past 15 years (2 x 250mg twice a day), but also on pantoprazole thanks to my GERD, gee, I wonder where I got the GERD from? lol

Yes, IBS is under "Instrumentality of War (IN)" as long as it's documented that you were in the geographic region as per the VA Presumptive list (which is pretty much anywhere in and around the sandboxes) and a rating by the VA.

Army is pretty good about doing that, however, unless OSA is coupled with something else, or secondary to a combat-related condition as @scottymotech mentioned above, it won't get approved. Usually I see it as: OSA w/Asthma, PTSD w/OSA, etc, etc, asthma being a presumptive therefore OSA gets...

    CRSC TIMELINE

I'll say with 99% certainty OP is Army as they're the only ones who do a 60-day notification

DFAS running as per usual - at least you got it done!

Glad to hear you've gotten the support needed. The Army is the only service that actually has an Ambassador program and allegedly there's around 2-300 of us out there. Tbh, I know 3-5, and I'm one of them, who are actually active out of the bunch. HRC was working on vetting their list, which...

    CRSC Calculation + Questions

HRC will verify that you have a retiree account, as you absolutely DO need a retiree account to show what the VA is offsetting. DFAS is totally incorrect in that statement. CRSC is only awarded if the VA is offsetting one's retirement, that's the whole purpose. So for someone at DFAS to state...

    CRSC went down with COLA?

dang! At least it wasn't more (hopefully) so that you don't owe anything, or very little if that.

It's HRC when they receive the COMPLETED claim, you can try the argument that DFAS had not set up your retiree account; however, it clearly states on the CRSC page for HRC (<-- LINK) that one is entitled to retiree pay that is being offset by the VA. The date you signed the CRSC Form 12e is not...

The problem is that it can be signed at anytime, it's when the service states they've received it. What's the date you emailed it?

Good luck, hopefully they'll grant it, but like you said, "not holding my breath" :)

Check your emails as you should have gotten a response from HRC stating they received it. If the received date is prior to 20 August, then they screwed up. You can PM me and I'll talk to HRC on your behalf. I had another one a week or two ago that was similar in nature, and HRC expedited it...

    CRSC Timeline

What was the date you filed your claim for CRSC and also when did you get your approval for your retroactive retirement even though you were retroactive retired if you did not file for CRSC until after 20 August 2025 you may have received exactly what you’re supposed to based on DOD interring...

They'll go with what is mentioned on the "Disability" line of 2yrs 5 months and 17 days, which is your combined retirement points / 360, so it sounds like you have around 900 total points, give or take.

    CRSC Calculation + Questions

Also, understand OP is a reservist (based on what I'm seeing), so they'll have to take their total points and divide by 360 first

    CRSC Calculation + Questions

You can get 60% with virtually no effort: 50% for the sleep apnea w/asthma, 10% for tinnitus and 10% for allergic rhinitis. The retirement order’s section you are referring to only pertains to Federal and State taxes, NOT CRSC. As for the base attack, you can try but as I posted earlier, you...

    CRSC Calculation + Questions

You probably won't need much to max out for your length of service tbh. I came up with $5,489.25 as your high avg 36, when you multiply that by 2.5% I get $137.23 per month. But I'm not DFAS so take my numbers with a grain of salt, although people have told me I'm usually pretty close. If...

As for your retirement acct, since you're getting no where on the Army side, I would talk to your Congressman and have them earn some of that money you get taxed for, make them earn their keep.
