    Service connected?

I believe if you are at 8 years or more - for DOD purposes, it will be service connected.

Range of Motion (ROM) Evaluation by independent party - any referrals

i wish every examiner was like this. of course, they are supposed to use the tool and stop when feeling pain, but i've heard more bad stories than good where the examiner didnt use the tool at all or made the person push past the pain.

What percentage can I expect from a methacholine challenge test?

i am in the same exact situation as you. 6 months to go until my ETS. my code 37 officially came on my 469 (profile) in November due to asthma. just a heads up - i've been told that most of the asthma cases are returned for duty unless you have a moderate to severe case. i have not been...

CRSC - Do I qualify, Calculations, Etc?

From what I posted on another thread: Put in for any PACT Act claims that you are rated for (as long as you were in the required locations). Those PACT Act claims are supposed to be "auto-approved" by CRSC due to instruments of war. So sinusitis, rhinitis, asthma, bronchitis, IBS (gulf war...

    CRSC Calculation

im not an expert so definitely wait for someone else to reply, but if youre over 20 years, i believe you wouldnt get an additional amount for crsc. it would make that dollar figure tax free on your DOD pension pay.

CRSC-Can't quite confirm eligibility, please help!

Put in for any PACT Act claims that you are rated for (as long as you were in the required locations). Those PACT Act claims are supposed to be "auto-approved" by CRSC due to instruments of war. So sinusitis, rhinitis, asthma, bronchitis, IBS (gulf war presumptive, not PACT), etc...

How is this not a violation of HIPAA?

Since around 2022, most (not all) but for sure most of civilian medical records are shared with military medical records. Its done through Genesis. This has actually been causing recruiting problems since the military now sees people's civilian medical records from when they were kids at MEPS

    Estimated back & radiclophy rating

Generally speaking, the rater is supposed to rate you based off the worse number. Active ROM, Estimated after repeated use, and Estimated during flare-up. So you should be getting rated at 40% for your back. And 10/20% for each leg radicular symptoms.

    Estimated back & radiclophy rating

Based on your ROM, your back should be 40% if they use the estimated range of motion after repeated use (30 degrees). If they use the active range of motion, you'll receive 20%. Radiculopothy looks like 20% in both legs. Of course, these are just my opinions.

    Referred conditions, (I want 20%)

if your ROM was 20%, then you'll get 40% for your DDD. Plus 10/20% per leg for radiculopathy. and the severance pay might sound good now, but i'm sure 60 year old you would thank your younger self for having tricare.

    Timeline MH

this is super quick, congrats. but how were you found unfit a week after entering the MEB process?

    Another CRSC question

How long were you AD? It'll be capped at your longevity pay (which is most likely lower than your CRSC approval unless you were an officer).

    AMRO Advice

the value is the possibility of medical retirement (tricare for life) if you go through the full board

    MEB Timeline

had me nervous for a bit. i never seen anyone found fit while on biologics for asthma. i am in the very beginning stages of the process and didn't want to be surprised with a "return to duty". hopefully in may you'll be ready to be found unfit (if thats what you want)

you got returned to duty while being on a biologic? Air Force? Or have you not started the biologic treatment yet?

    Random deposit just hit account

DFAS is military pay. I'm guessing this is your DOD retirement pay that you're paid monthly until your VA pay kicks in.

    MEB Timeline

Moonie & anxious, I am soon to be going through the same process. Diagnosed with moderate persistent asthma. I was told back in February that I would be referred to the MEB for my asthma but still havent yet. But my PCM told me that I just need to do another PFT since I am now considered stable...

    What would be the value?
