When did your case close with the VA?

I've been calling him everyday trying to get through and most times it goes straight to voicemail. There have been a handful of times including this morning where the phone actually rang and I get excited just for it to ring until voicemail picks up.

No and it's killing me. I have watched everyone who closed around the same time and now a bunch of people at my command who closed on the VA in Jan get their findings and I haven't heard anything. No one has any idea why or any sort of update/timeline now other than hopefully you hear soon.

Yeah this whole process is beyond terrible. I had emailed my PEBLO and CC'd my MSC asking about an update and stated I saw it closed on the VA gov website. My PEBLO emailed me right back saying it was still with the VA. WHAT?? I asked for clarification again stating I saw the claim was closed...

You are probably right. Still a cool thought though. Either way the fact that you have that mentality is awesome. Too many guys I know say "Fuck it.. It sucked for me so the future generations need to go through the suck too" and most of the good folks who would make great leaders get drug...

Ah that might be it. I didn't make that connection. I doubt it will be any time soon. I had personally already planned on selling all my leave and just taking the 20 days PTDY. It will make for a nice little bonus check to pad the time before VA kicks in

Most recent PDRL message. I edited to take out rating % and all parts of the name except first 2 of the last name for CUI purposes. Looks like they might be back to 30 days

How did you find out the date of your PEB decision? Was it on the 199 when you went in or did you find out before hand?

Some of us were informed by our PEBLOs, some by a NWW rep, and some by our lawyers. There is no official notification process. Basically if you are found fit then the case drops and you go back to full duty. If unfit then the VA will continue its rating and then you wait for final rating...
