    PTSD is Automatic 50%?

Sure...up...the white search bar. Haha, I'm just kidding. Not sure what your questions are but you should take a look at this original post from Jason: http://www.pebforum.com/f63/combat-related-special-compensation-crsc-slides-6580/ If you still have questions, there are plenty of people...

    Severance Pay Question

Am I reading this right? Are you saying that you would rather get a rating under 30% for the purpose of getting severance pay and NOTHING else (well, except VA) vs. a rating over 30%, a check the rest of your life, and eligibility to Tricare for the rest of your life? Sure, a lump sum of money...

    PTSD is Automatic 50%?

Unfortunately VA math isn't 1+1=2. Combining ratings is a little different than just adding them. Say you get 50% for PTSD, that leaves you at 50% able. Then say you get 50% for sleep apnea. Factoring that into to what's remaining gives you 25%. So for combining ratings, 50% + 50% = 75%...

    TDRL limitations

Hmm, interesting. Thanks for the info. What is the logic behind have a 75% cap though? It seems with TDRL they want to help anyone below 50% by bumping it up and hinder those above 75% by limiting it. Could this be lifted somewhere down the road as well? Oh well, hopefully this year's NDAA...

    TDRL limitations

Ok so I understand why the bottom limit for compensation is 50%. If someone has 30-40% they get bumped up while on TDRL and it helps them out financially. But would anyone care to explain the 75% cap? If someone (such as myself) is given more than 75% rating, why can't they recieve everything...

RETIRE NOW OR GO THROUGH MEB PROCESS

Having 20 years means you can get compensation from both DOD and VA (concurrent receipt). Someone with less than 20 years would have to basically choose one or the other. Using you're example of 70%, you would get 70% service retirement vs. the 57.5% (as you stated you would get with just...
