Update: Yesterday, 29 April, I signed paperwork to accept my findings and not have a formal board. I'm told that I'll get a new EAS in 2-3 weeks and then my EAS will be 45-60 days after that.

If your ratings for referred conditions increase after your EAS, and the increase puts you over 30% for those conditions, can you be medically retired after you are out of service? Or do you have to have the 30% during your time in service to get the retirement?

I definitely agree. I don't think anyone really knows what's going on with the boards at this point, but it would definitely be nice to get some information about it.

I’m just going to wait it out I think. That seems to be the right thing to do for my family. As much as I want to get out, I know I have a paycheck and health insurance right now.

That's pretty much what I was told as well. I spoke to someone at the Washington Naval Yard last week and they are basically postponing everything until at least May 11 when the travel restrictions are (hopefully) lifted. Best of luck!

From what I've learned through the Medboard Process is that VA Ratings wont show up on eBenefits until after you EAS. So that's probably not the best place to be looking for your ratings decision. Best of luck to everyone.
