Only 111 days to go!!

Update for everyone. Terminal was suppose to start on the 15th, but my capstone appt is on the 17th. So ill start terminal on the 17th, fly home on the 20th. Only two more weeks here on Active Duty. Feel free to ask me any questions about my process.

Just hang in there until it all blows over. I’d say call the VA and ask for more contacts you could get ahold of. Maybe call Head Quarters, see what’s going on up there? Maybe try calling HMMSR-4? I’d be calling any phone number I could get my hand on. Do you also have a VA Attorny?

You’ve been waiting since Jan 7th? It could be sitting on someone’s desk? Or the VA never sent it up to the DOD?

I got my final ratings back 20% Dod 90% VA with special comp, on January 29th I believe. I signed my 199 on Friday and sent it up. Called the VA to check and HQ has my package and hopefully I’ll get my EAS back soon.

Have you tried calling your PEBLO, or VA? Just to make sure everything was sent all the way through?

That's crazy, I was found unfit on the 21st of January and was told by the end of this week ill be getting my package back with both my ratings DOD/VA.. Hopefully, ill get it, but we'll see. Seems like their taking forever now.

What are some interesting or useful benefits from being medically separated from the military? Feel free to drop any links as I'm sure people in the future from now will use this information.

Why did it take you almost a month to get your findings and sign them?

Any update on your end? Found unfit from DOD side of IDES on Jan 21st. Within 10 days I should have my ratings/findings back.

Why did you have to sell two days of leave? Is there a max of how many PTAD/Leave you can take(60)?

You guys got yours back fast, my package got sent to them December 22nd, apparently my attorney said its with the IDES officer waiting for him to write fit or unfit. Everything in my file shows me as unfit so I don't know what could be taking so damn long lol..

Same, I got my ratings back December 21st/December 22nd. We should be getting word back any day now, but I was also told it can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to get everything back. Marine corps does move faster than most branches from what I've heard.

Found unfit, did you get your Proposed ratings back? As in just an overall rating?

Try calling the VA To get updates from them, see what's been done or where it's at.

Get ahold of your PEBLO and ask when they sent your package to DC. Then get ahold of the VA and ask for any updates or if there has been any findings made currently. I'm still waiting for DC to find me Fit/Unfit, and to give me a DOD rating. My package was sent Dec 22nd. I call my Peblo/Attorny...
