Is the Army Reserves as easy to get a waiver for as they say it is?

Right now my paperwork is going up to the Army waiver authority for approval. I dunno how good my chances are but I keep getting told that through the Army and this virus going on they’re desperate to fill up slots. Even easier if you’re going reserves. Is that necessarily true? I’m hoping I...

I passed my physical at meps to re-enlist in the military. I still need a waiver. How good are my chances?

From what I’ve been told this covid stuff has made it really hard to get recruits to fill up slots and their yearly quotas. Even more than usual. But then again. It’s a whatever happens happens at this point. Even with good odds and helpful circumstances I still have a big chance of a denial.

I passed my physical at meps to re-enlist in the military. I still need a waiver. How good are my chances?

I went to MEPS today and passed my physical. I didn’t get the waiver yet. Now my paperwork is going up to the Army Waiver Authority for approval. They tell me that’s the next step. Wish me luck. My RE code is a RE-3G with a characterization of JFF.

I’m gonna try to appeal the BCNR decision. Any advice?

So after many years I got my Re4 code and JFV changed to a Re3g and a JFF for being able to re-enlist in the military with a waiver. Unfortunately my waiver was given a “processing not justified” and I want to appeal this but there’s nothing I can do. As long as I don’t have a RE1 code I’m not...

I’ve been waiting on my waiver for over 30 days now. Can I speed this up?

I still don’t even know why. They just said “processing not justified” and that was it. I’ve made a congressional inquiry from my state Senator Dianne Feinstein in California to try and get an answer and reconsideration for giving me my waiver. I hear sometimes that can work but I’m not holding...

I’ve been waiting on my waiver for over 30 days now. Can I speed this up?

My waiver was told “processing not justified” so no. Now I don’t know what to do.

AFBCMR changed discharge to "secretarial authority"?

It is utterly ridiculous and extremely unfair how quick the military is to throw you out with an adjustment disorder. With nowhere to go and nothing to show for it. Then have to go to court or a BCNR to prove you were wrongfully separated. Just to get some relief or give yourself another chance...

I’ve been waiting on my waiver for over 30 days now. Can I speed this up?

So it’s been 32 days since I started the process of getting a waiver to join the military again. My recruiter told me the process would take 30 days. He even told me he had someone going for a waiver for ptsd that had way more paperwork and took 50 days to get. Now I’m just wondering how long...

AFBCMR changed discharge to "secretarial authority"?

I also hear quotas can affect waiver chances as well. Last I checked the army has the hardest time with that. They’re not exactly having a gay ole time with quotas during this virus. I hear they’re hurting heavily more than usual for troops.

AFBCMR changed discharge to "secretarial authority"?

I tried the va. I got denied because of lackluster time in service. The last time I went to them was to get a letter stating that I’m not receiving any benefits from them. So the doctors at meps can read that and no I’m not receiving anything from them. My recruiter told me if you have 30% or...

Waiver for Reenlistment Process Questions - RE3 JFV - Honorable Discharge - Adjustment Disorder w/ Depressed Mood

Also how long was the whole process in general? I’m current going through this with the active duty Army and I’ve sent my paperwork up to the meps in Omaha Nebraska. My recruiter says it’ll take 30 days to get an answer and meps physical. Right now it’s been 21 days....

AFBCMR changed discharge to "secretarial authority"?

I dunno, all I hear from my lawyer is that it’s a good code for re-enlistment. It’s not bad but it’s not really good either. The only people I know that have this were those who were dishonorably discharged back in the day for homosexuality. Then the military changed that to not kick people out...

My recruiter is reaching out to meps next week. What can I expect for getting a waiver for adjustment disorder RE-3G with a JFF?

I mean obviously my recruiter. Unfortunately it’s one of those things where it’s not a straight forward process and it rarely ever goes down the same path sorta speak. I know some people who got approved by a battalion commander. Some got some guy at meps to approve them. Or some had to go to...

My recruiter is reaching out to meps next week. What can I expect for getting a waiver for adjustment disorder RE-3G with a JFF?

Hello, I’m trying to go into the army. My recruiter is trying to get a update from meps on my waiver status. He’s going to ask for a possibility of a physical. If I pass my physical will I get my waiver and swear in? Or is there another thing after that? My recruiter is saying it can either get...

Can I make another case with the BCNR despite my discharge already upgraded?

Even though my re4 code and JFV got changed to a RE3G and JFF I’m still having issues finding a recruiter whose willing to help me re-enlist. The fact that I need a waiver is scaring a lot of people away. Also for some weird reason the Air Force reserves is telling me that my re code is non...

How long does it take to get a new revised DD214?

4 days ago I got the letter from the BCNR stating that they changed my re4 code to an re3g. Unfortunately, the recruiter doesn’t care or want the letter. He wants my new dd214 showing that it got changed. How long does it take to get that new dd214? The decision was officially made on May 1st.

Getting a waiver to re-enlist. Is the army really the easiest for waivers?

Yeah I figured. I also wanna know how this covid-19 has affected everything as far as recruiting is concerned. How many people got in over the past 3 months and what’re the quotas like?
