    C&P Exam Question

You guys are correct. When I said, "referred" it was everything that the VA cares about, not just what the Army cares about.

    C&P Exam Question

In my experiences they only look at the conditions referred. If there are other conditions that are related to the referred conditions the provider can include them within his/her diagnoses.

Narsum/MEB Packet got mailed a month ago timeframe?

Depending on the number of claims, I would assume that it will be less than 6 months. Good luck.

Agree, but one must realize that DoD is the "gold standard" of socialized medicine. It doesn't care about the cost, first-in-is-the-first-out (unless expidited). Your wages have nothing to do with this system. If you are a reservist, than you are further delayed. How do you get expidited? It...

    Fort Lewis PEB

My packet took a month sitting at the VA, before they took action. Also, Thanksgiving probably slowed it down. I feel your pain. Unless you are expidited, plan on a month for the VA to take action, another month for the PEB to "receive" the VA's ratings, and additional 2-3 months to get your...

Narsum/MEB Packet got mailed a month ago timeframe?

Tomcat, I assumed that you ment that your MEB packet was sent to the PEB. Did you mean that you were at the beginning of the MEB process, and that your medical packet was just sent to the MEB to process? If you are at the beginning, and just sent your packet to the MEB, I would agree with...

Narsum/MEB Packet got mailed a month ago timeframe?

In the Army, 6 months. The other services are taking far less time. I'm guessing around 4 months. The more referred issues, and the more complex the issues = more time.

    Separation pay

LOL. I think we all got confused between Alex (post#1) and then Lewis (post#3). I thought the discussion was with Lewis and that is what threw me for a loop (retirement vs separation)... (bad soldier, meal card stamped "no dessert")

    Separation pay

Joe, I was thinking the same thing, until I saw Lewis' last couple comments. I thought that I was getting blamed, and then realized that I was giving him bad news (separation vs retirement). I thought he was still considering accepting or appealing and trying for retirement. I then looked at his...

    Separation pay

Ranger, David Lewis accepted a separation, so he will not get a retirement. Without retirement, he can't get CRSC. That is a continueing list of things that makes separation suck. In order for the separation not to be paid-back through the VA disability, he will need to show the injury occured...

    Separation pay

I think that I know what you are asking. You get your VA disabiltiy and your retirement pay is reduced by the same amount. So, you will not be paid any "retirement" (only VA disability). Concider that separation (unless directly combat related) will be recovered by the VA, and taken out of...

The below is from the USAPDA website (I didn't know that USAPDA reviewed all appeals (formal or informal)): Final approval authority for all PEB findings and recommendations rests with the USAPDA. All cases completed by the PEB are forwarded to the USAPDA. The USAPDA HQs conducts an appellate...

Do you know what "Election" means on the EPEB? This is my status six weeks after submitting a written rebuttal to my IPEB.

My EPEB status has changed to "Election" on 5 Nov on my written rebuttal. Anyone know what this means?

Was wondering if I have already been found "unfit"?

I am in the same situation, and this is what I did: Checked EBen saw that the VA wanted more info on an issue. I called the VA, but they woun't release the specifics until I received the info. I then went to a veteran's assistance group, gave them my power of attorney, and they pulled up the...

Findings from PEB, headed to VA. Question.....

The "yes"es are related to pre-existing conditions, misconduct, and something else according to a PEBLO. No'es are best.
