So it’s been 14 months now and I’m getting fed up with this. I feel like this gonna be one of those over 18 month cases. Especially with this virus outbreak happening. They still won’t give me an update on my case. I just don’t know what to do anymore.

It is frustrating. Unfortuantely, BCMR often go beyond two years.

All I’ve gotten was a email detailing my docket number. Then I got an Advisory Opinion 2.5 months ago and I’ve heard nothing since. I was told that a decision is made not much longer after an AO is sent out. Yet with this virus that’s probably going to last longer.

I would suspect so. The AF has suspended PCS, reduced TDY, stopped promotion boards, banned pin on and retirement ceremonies. Lots of impact in the military from COVID-19.
