Hello all,
I'm a comm guy in the Air Force and currently at 18 years 2 months of service. I have recently tested ANA positive back in June and my PCM has referred me to a Rheumatologist for next month which I was hoping to avoid but due to a short tour (leaving in four months) its forcing the issue. I know for sure based on the last few months that I definitely have something going on and it will more than likely cancel the assignment as well as lead to a MEB. I have not missed any days at work and had a recent PT test with no issues but was on a No PCS/TDY and No PT from Feb 2023 to June 2023. My fear is I'm so close to retirement that I may end up getting medically separated/retired before I hit 20. Does anyone with a similar situation with any advice besides cancel the appointment (I've tried to postpone) or if you had luck applying for LAS? I know I'm not in the process yet but I would much rather get ahead of the issue. Thank you.
