2nd LIMDU = Automatic PEB??

Hello everyone, I’ve been looking around but haven’t been able to clarify the following question:

Currently assigned to first term LIMDU. If at the end of the six month assignment the PCM does a second period of LIMDU, does that automatically trigger a PEB to run concurrently with the second assignment?

Or would a PEB be something that is referred independent of (possibly following) the second LIMDU assignment?

Marine Officer for context (since I believe the max-LIMDU time rules are different)

Ultimately i am just trying to get a sense for timelines. I know my conditions will ultimately result in separation, but trying to be able to plan for approximately how long I have.

After a year on limdu PEB automatically gets initiated. For me it was a 6 month period then two 3 month periods once it hit a year it got put in. If that’s the answer you are looking for.

MAR 17 Referred to IDES
MAR 24 Formal peblo / attorney
APRIL 3 VA INTAKE
APRIL 24 FIRST EXAM
MAY 9 LAST EXAM
(AD MARINE)
Only been in the process for two months and I have been lucky to go through fast. The last thing I have is to sign off on the impact statement. So within the next two weeks my case will get sent to DC. To be honest if you want it to go as fast as possible get your things done at the beginning.
