Jan 23: Notified by peblo to come sign 618
Jan 25: signed 618
Jan 27: MyFSS Package is Received

Does anyone know how long till i hear back on the fit/unfit decision? Some people have said the VA with have a claim in process? Is that claim just on the VA.Gov site?

You and I are almost on the same exact timeline, Jan 26 is when I got the MyFSS package received email.

If you go into MyFSS at the top under MyFSS cases right next to it is "closed" if you click that, you can see the correspondence between your peblo and AFPC as well as the entire package that was sent to the board, if you were just curious. Mine had alot of paperwork that I wasn't aware of (but it was also like 250 pages long).

I'm not sure of any other ways to see the status through MyFSS or vMPF, I heard there are some tips and tricks but I can't find any.
Thank you! Ill keep an eye out for that update as of right now myfss says u have no cases hopefully ill see somthing in there this week.

Anyone know what my next step is in my process?

On Nov 16 I contacted PCM who initiated MEB.
On Dec 27 I was given a AF 469 that said "Pending MEB". I am also no longer able to reenlist or pcs or anything.

I am not sure what I should be looking out for at this point. My ETS is in less than 120 days so want to maybe start asking questions so it doesn't get to close.

Do you have Code 37 on your AF 469? If you do your PEBLO will reach out to you (usually an email notification) It will say Pre IDES notification and to contact the PEBLOs office. from that point you will have a meeting and go over everything to start your process.

If you are 120 days out I would schedule your CAPS and TAPS if you haven't completed those yet.
Start gathering all your documents for all medical issues.

It says AAC37/DAV42 - No deployment, member is undergoing an MEB. Est End Date: 12/22/2023

It has been a month and no PEBLO has reached out to me if they should have in my scenario. Also, I have over 90 days of leave. I was under the impression that I will be extended since this process takes awhile.

Interesting. It may have taken a month for me to receive the email you should get it soon. If you don't by the end of this week maybe reach out to them?

Yes, this process can be very lengthy. It does depend on case by case though. For example how many claims you have, complexity, documents that are needed can cause delays etc.

Once you start the process you will not be able to take leave without asking PEBLO for permission. You will be able to use leave for terminal at the end of this process.

09 FEB: still no update and nothing on MYFSS about my case. This process is killing me i would really love to live with my wife again she is reserves and lives in florida its been almost a year.

Is there any way to get extra days off sense my family is separated?

FWIW I called the VA benefits hotline yesterday and spoke with someone. I said "I just wanted to make sure my package was actually received by the VA because we don't get any confirmation" and the very helpful lady looked me up and said yes the package has been received and they're generating ratings now so it's on the tail end. She couldn't give a timeline of course because she said every case is unique and has different factors.
Just gave them a call they said every is done on their end and it’s still going through the IDES system. Hopefully it progresses sometime soon

03FEB: had an appointment with VERA they said my claim is ready for decision. looks like its still a waiting game.

15MAR: case closed on the VA I wish I could see the ratings somewhere.

When you call VA they say it will be mailed to you and you'll recieve it in 10 days, but I emailed my peblo/MSC and they said they had the results (most likely emailed to them) and to come in to get briefed the results.
Yeah I emailed my peblo and they ignored me lol.
