Adding health issue after MEB has started

Hi, I have question about adding a health issue after a MEB has started. Last week I met with my PEBLO and he has started my MEB. He basically told me that in about a week I will find out which health issues will be fit or unfit. He also said most likely I will be found unfit. I then told him that I have been experiencing another health issue and I recently went to the ER for it and then I have since seen my PCM and both doctors told me I have Meniere’s disease. I'm still waiting to see the off base specialist which the earliest they can see me is June 29th. So I asked him if I would be able to add this health issue after they tell me that I'm unfit for prior health issues and he said yes. I'm just wondering if he is correct and is there enough time to get my records to my file on base so it can be a part of my MEB.

"I Think" you are able to attach addendums at any point prior to the PEB ruling......Start keeping really good records for this not listed condition..... I'm army and had an issue come up prior to signing my DD214..... After the PEB..... My departure is now on hold and my paperwork is being forwarded to the board for a casual glance by prior to establishing a new exit date. ;)

If you haven't signed your NARSUM (narrative summary) then once you read it you can appeal to have new diagnosed conditions put into PEB. If you've signed your NARSUM then you might have to wait until the PEB is complete to appeal for them to consider your new diagnosis. Just my thinking, talk with you PEBLO.

I'm dealing with this now because my Medical Officer never completed my addendum so I have to wait until I receive my findings and ask for the PEB to reconsider a review of my back and hip but it was already rated by the VA @20/10%. I'm in the Marine Corps so it might be a little different when dealing with your DES and PEBLO. Do as much research as possible because everyone has there own answers.
