has anyone going through the process noticed the ability to access RAPIDS for id cards on MILCONNECT? and also if you go to your perspective tricare website and login (mine is north) it shows retired but ineligible for tricare?

Wow, i just looked at mine and it says retired as well and ineligible. That was never there.

Yea I thought it to be a little weird. Im not saying it means anything, it could just be a glitch in the system or they had no other way to classify for that particular system. Who knows then again it could be a good sign.

I called DEERS and they said that Im retired but then she said that last year December time. The VA gave me 100 Permanent total due to IU. And thats what gave me my retirement. But it sounds strange. So then I called retirement at DEFAS and they tell me Im not in the system. Will keep posted

I logged in Rapids but doesn't show any info except my basic profile and family info. When I clicked on Deers it says ineligible as well

I may try calling to see if they can see anything from there standpoint

Did anyone get the 100 % due to IU? When i called Deers they said it was because i have 100 and the Va did something which made Deers put n retirement, I have no clue

Individual Unemployable.
LOL...I knew that..thanks
Well I finally was able to reach a rep. at the APDB guy named AL and he told me that they are the last phase and that he can't see my case yet or it isn't in the tracker just yet. He also said that there are 4 steps and that most soldiers pray that they fall into the last step which means their case is warranted retirement which means a new orders get cut and he has to let the transition office know. Steps 1-3 are different percentages categories which an amendment is done but the soldier doesn't get retirement. So the email that he provided me to check the status is. army.arbainquiry.mail.mil for a status.

Thanks for the information. I believe our cases are running about the same timeframe. I received an update on 5/11/2016, stating that I was in the final stages and my case was waiting on signtures, reviewed, etc. before being sent to the Army. I sent an email on 6/6/2016 asking will they notify me when my case will be sent to the Army so that I could quit bothering them (LOL) but they sent me a response saying no they will not notify me (I will send another email in July) but my case should be sent to Army within the next few weeks. I will start my 120 days count down when I send another update in July to see when my case was sent to the army.

Regarding the four stages, I did see a timeline and I believe the stages are similiar to the PEB, which consists of the following 4 stages and it's 120 days but I am not quite sure. At least it gives us some guideline to their process but I think the 120 days is a general number that they give everyone. If you look at the timeline some of the stages would be omitted since this coming form the PBDR. All we can do is wait and see.

If the time line says 120 days then. Counting weekends I have 62 days left and not counting the weekends I have 79 days left. How I want to push it. Im going to have to say my packet is lost. PDBR said my packet was sent out on April 14 2016 electronically. But if thats the case why is it that ARBA nor PDA have my packet but PDBR is saying no it was sent. Im lost for words.

Shelly the recarachterization we put in from my husbands 20% from meb back in 2005.timeline for that took 2 years.he got 30% now retirement.

So I made a few phone calls yesterday and today, and I spoke to guy with the PDA and he emailed another guy who works for PDBR. The email said that they have recived my packet on April 21, but y is that when I call ARBA they keep telling that they dont have my packet. So at this point im going to say fuck this shit, im just going to have contact my congressmen. Because all the system do is beat around the bush. No wonder Vets with very bad PTSD kill them selfs. The goverment always keeps Vets waiting. They really dont care, they get their checks on time and just fuck us over. Sorry had 2 get it out

Thanks for the info...I actually emailed the PDBR again thinking that they already had sent my case to the Army but they said the same, awaiting signatures and they were backlogged.

And see Dre27 the PDBR sent my packet to the Army, which is ARBA on April 14 and everytime I write PDBR they keep telling me they sent it to the Army and to start my 120 days but when I called PDA they said the 120 days doesn't start until PDA gets it and that nothing has been sent to them. Now mind u PDA ARBA AND PDBR are all n like 1 office. Will keep posting

Thanks all for the info...very informative! I too just got off the phone with Al and agree...very pleasant and informative. He also recommended that I email [email protected] with my name and PD# to ask if they received it. I received a reply back from the PDBR 4/21/16 that my case was adjudicated and "recently" sent to the Army Board for final decision...so who knows really how "recent" it was.

Regarding the MilConnect access, I don't think I've ever seen where my benefit type was declared as "retired." I'm not at 100% IU (just 70%) and only served about 8yrs. Honestly I'm rarely on MilConnect/eBenefits so I can't say with 100% confidence that anything is different, but that does look new to me and why would I EVER be considered "retired" if the PDBR didn't have something to do with it?

Of course I don't want to get my hopes up just for them to come crashing down, but I have to admit this is promising. I'll continue to wait and see what happens.

Thanks again!
