Adjudication Complete

They email status link either isnt tied to someone directly because 3 different times I have emailed and no response. No since in calling Albert since he's at the end of the process and besides his vm has been on since this week or either Im calling at a bad time...lol. I wish there was another contact out there btw I found his work (pentagon) email but didnt feel comfortable emailing him without his knowledge or consent. It may ruffle some feathers... I will try and call again later today.

Hi folks! My case was adjudicated November 18, 15 and I am still waiting on "notification". With the PDBR site being down for audit for several months I truly had no idea where I stood. The site came back up today and my case was uploaded. I got my retirement (50%). I am ruffling some major feathers come Monday. I am more than 2 years into this process and 8 months to notify a person is unacceptable. Especially since I get medical insurance! If I happen to come up with anything else on Monday as far as names and contact info I will be sure to share it!!

You should contact ARBA 703-545-6900. I was told in March 2016 by the PDBR that my case was adjudicated and sent to the Army. I got in touch with ARBA last week and they said my case was complete and a package was sent to me in January 2016! They sent it to an old address, so now that I've updated the address they have re-sent the package.

Keebe, so what was your statues and how long was it from when you received your AR tracker number to when the Army completed your packet

Hello all, I received my AR2016XXXX number today however, this was their response

Sir,

Your application was recently considered by the Physical Disability Board of Review (PDBR). Our agency has oversight of the PDBR. The application identified as AR20160009392 has been considered by the PDBR and sent to the Army Review Boards Agency for final review and approval by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Review Boards). Once the review is completed, you will be notified of the decision.

I don't know if that's favorable or encouraging any ideas?

Taya,

What do you mean by my status?

I found my AR number when my case was uploaded to the PDBR reading room. My case was sent back to the Army in November of 15 and when I spoke to DFAS on Monday they said they received my paperwork on June 20th. Figure 30 days for them to receive it and input it. So I am guessing the Army signed off on the recommendation sometime in May. So 6 months from it being sent back to them signing off on it.

My packet may arrive today. I will let you know when it was dated and will give a much better idea!

As promised, I said I would report back here when I got my results...I received them while I was out on vacation (I'm glad I didn't get them before as it definitely would have put a damper on my vacation). Unfortunately the results were not what I wanted and only received a 10% increased based on yet another military technicality. Long story very short: apparently my board underwriters were good and wrote that my OSA was "not unfitting" and that my right knee was "unfitting"...even though the month prior, they found that same knee "not unfitting." On my appeal, I only added my OSA, and it comes back that now that knee is "unfitting."

Very disappointed in this so called "process" and the fact that this took over 2yrs to complete just to get shafted by the exact same okie-doke that shafted me on the initial board.

I was hoping that this PDBR would correct this injustice, but I'm guessing this started to be "too successful" and politics got heavily involved and started shutting it down...hence the "audit." I will be consulting with counsel to see about if I've exhausted all avenues.

Good luck everyone and hopefully you'll have more favorable results.

Oh, mine was stamped with July 6th from the ARBA.

Well I checked my mail box this past Saturday and surprise my PDBR packet. I was scared to open it so of course I prayed first. I did receive 40% even though I thought it should of been higher but they didn't account for the VA records involving my feet and my now current back condition but only the state where it was when I was medically boarded back in 2003. I am grateful because it could of came back with no change or less. Now I am waiting on retirement services and dfas which the letter stated it could be several more months.

Congratulations on your retirement! It will be several more months. My packet was signed off on February and I am just now at the tail end. Waiting on back pay and new DD214. Everything else is done.

Awsome news and congrats on your retirement! I do have a quick question the packet you receive was it from PBDR or the military branch? I know our cases were on the same timeline but the last I checked about 3 weeks ago my case was still waiting signatures before going to to the army. If it was from the military branch that turnaround was quick. I'm still holding on to hope. Once again, congrats! Even though you feel that it should be higher look at the benefits you are about to receive!

First Class, I was boarded for Asthma, Back my feet was added but was rated zero from the Army back when I exited. Since then VA performed surgery on each they may have took that in consideration

So what I'm trying to find out now is will I receive orders next? I'm really trying to enroll in DEERS as quickly as possible.
