Oh sorry I don't know how they're going to rate it I injured a ligament in my wrist at some point by the time I noticed it it was destroyed "scalphoid lunate ligament" I had the reconstruction done with a piece of tendon but that came apart now I'm waiting until I'm out to get a partial wrist fusion. That's my unfit condition though. I know ill develope bad arthritis if I don't get the fusion but that's about it. I also have bilateral carpal tunnel and cubical tunnel and patella femoral syndrome anyway as far as the timeline goes the conditions shouldn't matter as long as your already diagnosed and not about to have surgery or anything make sure to get yours ur medical records so your ready to list conditions at the va meeting in case they miss anything you can use militarydisabilitymadeeasy.com there's a lot of conditions you can be compensated for
alrite just make sure any concerns you have them list them on the form your about to do, never know what gives compensation. Its supposed to be whats already in your medical record but you can get checked for anything that bothers you.
Thanks! Question for you. Your DOD rating is 30% and VA is 80%. Did you have to choose between medical retirement versus VA only. That's what my PEBLO said. We said magic number is 50/50 so you get retired and your va disability.
I'm not sure personally yet, i have to still have the "outbrief" meeting with my MSC i think he's called. Im only an E-5 so i'm most likely going with the full VA payment if possible so its tax free. I did see that since my anxiety is rated at 50 % right now that i'll have to be re-evaluated after i'm out, should not matter though, i already have 1 more possible 10% and a couple others im looking into since i went to C&P's. The most important thing for my family was getting the medical retirement it wasn't worth the risk for me to fight for more when it was already higher than i was expecting.

results back from the VA at any time (they have 30 days to give us the
results from your last appointment). Once I get those back I request an
addendum from your doctor and then I present your case to the local DAWG.
After presenting I need to have a meeting with you to sign the 618 and to
see if you are wanting an Impartial Medical Review, or if you want to submit
a letter of exception. After that's complete I send it off to AFPC for the
Informal Board and that decision usually comes back with-in 15 days of
sending it out.

How do you know when the unfit memo is sent from the PEB to the VA?
@crag83 You signed your 618 pretty quick. My timeline is almost identical to yours but it seems our PEBLO's are having different stories. I met with PEBLO on the 17 Dec 2015, VA/C&P 4-11 Jan 2016, my PEBLO called me on 29 Feb 2016 and said my VA ratings and C&P reports came back, now they have 5 days to write my NARSUM and addendum and she will call me when it is done so I can come in and sign my 618. Once I sign my 618 then it will be sent to AFPC.....
You signed yours already so you should have your proposed ratings from the VA. My PEBLO said she would go over my ratings and C&P report when I come in to sign my 618. So you should have an idea already. At least from the VA side. I don't know maybe my PEBLO is misinformed......

Not sure what is going on. She gave me all the copies of my C&P exams and I signed the 618. Now I am waiting on AFPC. Let me know if you get your ratings from the PEBLO when you sign your 618 but I do not think they will give that to you. Good luck and keep me posted on your times.
I called Providence and they told me they recieved my packet yesterday. She told me they have 15 days to get proposed rating and send back to the PEBLO. Does AFPC have to look at it again or will PEBLO review my ratings once back from the VA?
