AGR Soldier with a question

Hello,

I am an AGR Soldier and I have just recieved my 20 year letter for my total years of service. I will have 19 years active duty time March 18th 2012. I am getting ready to go to Fort Knox for (supposedly) my final visit. I will be seeing a Dr Ordaz? Then I assume my NARSUM will follow sometime after that visit. My question is, when/if they medically retire me will I collect my retirement right away as if I reached 20 years active? Or will I have to wait until I turn 60? I had open heart surgery in 2009 and had my aortic valve replaced with a Saint Judes and am on coumadin for life. 1 week later I had another open heart surgery because I had fluid build up on my heart. (Pericardial effusion) I have been pretty much walking through this entire MEB process blind. As I have had no solid guidance. Thanks for any help!
