2 Dec 16 - Local MEB convenes and renders 'unfit' refers to IPEB
8 Dec 16 - Met with PEBLO, concurred with local board's findings, signed
9 Dec 16 - Case referred to IPEB
Today - Called OAC - case has not been heard - provided timeline of 6-8 weeks? <--- this is not cool

According to the timelines in the DoDM 1332.18-V2 all suspenses have been busted.

Knowing my fate, I started to apply for jobs and was offered a good Federal position but they cannot do anything until the IPEB rules Fit/Unfit and provides percentages. The estimated adjudication should have been 23 Dec 16. If everything went by the DoDM 1332.18-V2 in a perfect world, this should have been made months ago.

Is there any possible way to expedite this? I would hate to lose out on this civilian opportunity. The PEBLO has not been in the office, the VA MSC, chat, and 1-800 number hasn't been helpful with providing ANY information other than the VA says although eBenefits says "Pending Decision Approval" they have until 18 Jul 17 to approve. Uh, wouldn't the decision already be made - it just needs approval?

I'm getting very upset and short in this process. It only impacts my life, livelihood, and more. Does anyone really care?

I am just trying to get on with my life after 18+ years.

Thanks!

"Is there any possible way to expedite this?"

No you are at their mercy. Patience is key here. Even if you hear back from the IPEB here soon you still have to wait on the VA to do the ratings. It may be a few more months until you are out.

I heard back from the VA MSC - there was a notation requesting about a recurring related condition (which has been answered) so they are now ready to rate. The VA ratings should be next week. Now it's totally up to the service.

I just need a retirement date! I'm so over being in IDES for 7+ months.

Oh wow that was quick then for the IPEB. I was told it would take 2-3 months for mine because they were backlogged. My case was referred to the IPEB 7 days before yours was so I wonder if I will also be hearing something soon.

"I just need a retirement date! I'm so over being in IDES for 7+ months."

And yes I understand the frustration. I have been in this since April.

Mine was submitted early November and still nothing has come back.

So I just clicked the expedite button and have 13 conditions claimed. Will see what heppens.

I don't even have any active claims at the moment on ebenefits. Mine went historical back in November prior to my package even being sent to the IPEB.

Hope your rating comes in soon and more importantly it's what you're entitled to. Sorry it's taking so long, believe me I understand (see below).

Dude you had an entire year go by with no progress! 2015 not a peep

I had my paperwork turned in around mid November. Just waiting from the I-PEB.

@psoriasissucks Can I ask what your AFSC is and what you're being treated with? Going through the MEB process for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, being treated with humira. I'm a pilot, so wondering if that would change the potential outcome/what I should be expecting. Thanks! All the best.

Unfortunately, you are the only one that can not bust a suspense in this process. The frustrating thing is there is nothing that will expedite the process.

Hey Psoriasissucks, we are on the same timeline only I'm a month ahead of you...sent my package off to AFPC on 19 Nov. My ebennies just changed from Waiting approval to preparation for decision....so backwards. The wife and I are losing our minds, and checking and hoping everyday for some info. I'm being let go for Psoriasis treated by Sterla at almost 17yrs AD. I have applied and been passed on for one job already due to no separation date, and phone interviewed today for another job (will be passed over for the same reason I'm guessing, they want to hire by 3 Feb).

So you called 14days ago and was told you had another 6-8 weeks???

I'm a 2W1 Weapons troop and was on Hunira for almost a year, that shot hurts!! I love the Sterla, painless and every 12 weeks.
