Another Step Closer..

Spoke to VA the other day..turns out they canceled my Pension Claim, without making a decision on it. Got an IRIS inquiry going on to find out why. Hopefully I will actually get contacted this time, as the last IRIS inquiry was never answered. I'll give them 7 days this time, and will be contacting them again, as I waited over a month last time and they still never gave me any answers and did not contact me. (Any Suggestions)..

Yesterday, my Comp Claim went to Prep for Notification. Was told by woman at VA that I should hear something very soon concerning that claim.

Tried to contact my PEBLO last month on the 26th..Didn't receive a response til' the 4th of this month, and then was told that a CPT was handling my case. My "Former" PEBLO cc'd my new PEBLO and asked for her to update me. I didn't receive a response. I then shot an email to my new PEBLO asking for an update on the 14th, and once again, no contact thus far. I do not even have a phone number to contact this new PEBLO. I don't like feeling like I'm totally in the dark. (Any Suggestions?)...

Hoping that this is signifying getting closer to an end. Packet been with VA since 3/15/2011 and "Officially" started MEB Oct 2011, even though I was turning in medical evidence to them since July 2011 and was notified that I was Pending MEB since Feb 2010. God Bless to each of you and I hope that you all get the decisions that you deserve in a better time frame than I've had thus far.

I'm almost inline with ur MEB peb except received my LOI may 2011.
Been waiting on percentages since feb 2012.
PEBLO alphas no clue, iris doesn't answer and va has nothing useful...
It sucks!

As of today on E-benefits and the AB8 Benefit Verification Letter, it's showing that I'm rated at 90%, but the amount listed is only for veteran...it's not the amount with child, and I have one of those. What do I do in this case? They were sent a copy of my sons birth certificate and they have been sent my childs SSN. I haven't gotten the actual paperwork, but in seeing this at this point in time..what should I do?????

Oh..another thing..its also saying effective date is Dec 2011..I filed my claim Mar 15, 2011. Should I just wait til' I get the actual paperwork in the mail, or thru my PEBLO, or should I go ahead and work on fixing this, as I was told repeatedly by VA personnel that my claim would go back to my actual file date..and if so, how can combat this?

OK..figured out for myself on the pension part, why it was canceled. I will be compensated more because of my percentage than I would have gotten with pension, thus they canceled that. After I see my actual individual broken down ratings, I will then be able to make a decision on whether I can file for IU. Now just to get the date fixed (which has been an ongoing issue) and ensuring that they add my son to my benefits.
