I just got my199 ratings back, 80% VA and 50% DOD. I do however have a new diagnosis that I would like added to my case, and the only way to do so is the Formal PEB. I have heard it on here before and from my peblo today that it is better for me to actually show up in person, I plan on doing this in person.
what kind of questions do they ask, and do they ask any trick questions? not that I have anything to hide.
I did not step foot in my FPEB, because I have to withdraw mine. Others may chime in with their experience. Just want to refer you to some people on JBLM for 2nd opinion and can assist with your case besides your PEBLO.
Have you done your elections and demand an FPEB yet?
If not, the best people to seek legal advise on JBLM are:
-Mr Gavin-with MEB JAG @ Old Madigan (he is their paralegal, but knows more than majority of them)
968-5347
-Mr Bryan Buckler (American Legion) he is Lawyer at the SFAC Bldg by Madigan.
966-6202
-Mr Billy King-Ombudsman (SFAC BLDG) 968-3049
Before I signed my 199, I confirmed and double check with @maparker and @scoutCC, at the time for the best COA so I ended up picking Mr Bryan Buckler. He was very helpful in the strategy we took after demanding my FPEB. Your case might be different than mine, because I have to withdraw my FPEB, whereas in my case it was worth having that 2nd opinion.
