Just want to let everyone know my husband's COAD was approved. He had just short of 16 years and is not in an under strength MOS. He did have 3 strong recommendation letters. We had a hard time finding anyone with an approved COAD when he started his packet so I just wanted to let Soldiers know it is possible.
Awesome, what was his condition? Who approved the coad? I may be facing a similar situation, still pending diagnosis, but would love to stay for 20 in the Army.
Thats AWESOME!! We have 19 1/2 in and are hoping for a coad since we have an approved retirement date, he is cadre at WTB and he is Intel (shortage MOS)

In April I hti 18yrs and I am so worried since they(my PEBLO) told me that the MEB is only 295 days. I hate to do this and come short of retirement. I really need a good example of a recommandation letter.
Would you mind sharing that COAD letter or the example of it?
