I still have a few months until retirement, BDD claim was submitted this past December, and now I feel like I'm sitting around coming up with every conceivable reason for the VA to deny my claim(s).
If a DBQ is filled out in a given way, that means the examiner was able to find the medical evidence commensurate to write-up said DBQ, correct? They review the medical evidence, then conduct their exam, and write up the DBQ accordingly.
If so, is it a 'thing' for the VA rater to read the DBQ, and then somehow, someway, NOT see the same medical evidence that the examiner found?
Can a claim get denied because a rater doesn't 'see' something, even though the examiner already specified the medical evidence that was reviewed AND conducted the exam?
All of my DBQ's are written in a way that is very favorable to me, when compared to the VA rating schedule, but I'm trying to not allow myself to get too excited, because the internet is full of people who claim they got screwed by the VA, even though all the evidence is in their claim.
In any case, just wondering if the above is a potential outcome. Thanks,
Shaun
