Army issues

So bit of a predicament. Long story short, I’m in recruiting command (Army) and on assignment. I’ve had multiple surgeries, treatment and recommendations (to include cmd directed evaluation) for either SRU or MEB, however, due to lack of military medical where I’m at, it’s all been at a standstill and I’m expected to pcs to another assignment which won’t help anything. I’m at a standstill with this and unsure where to go next.

Oh, also, have gone to in patient help, all that happened was I was taken off active recruiting duty. Also for the profile for my last surgery, all paperwork was submitted in a timely manner to BDE yet no profile was even entered as they’re having a “backlog” of soldiers.

Have you talked to your commander? Chaplin? PCM would be the start normally but I know recruiting is a bit different since you may be on Tricare Prime Remote meaning you don't have a PCM local to ask about profiles.

I have talked to the commander multiple times, talked to the chaplain last night, his recommendation is a letter from my pcm (civilian) requesting a fit for duty assessment based on everything. According to him, it’ll trigger a command directed eval, during which could get the p3 or 4 to stop the pcs

Your commander can request a fit for duty exam but sure if your civilian PCM writes one up that may get the ball rolling. My wife was AGR and what did it for her was having her PCM fill out a profile package. The medical contacted her commander in her Reserve unit to create a fit for duty memo and then she had to go to the nearest active duty base for the exam.

That’s what I’m kinda doing. PCM wrote a letter stating the importance of a timely eval for fit for duty, along with conditions why he believes I should be evaluated. Sending it to the co this afternoon during a call so wish me luck.
