I am an army reservist coming up on 29 years of service. I have 5 years active duty. I have a 40% disability VA Compensation. I have been found fit to work in my MOS by a med board two years ago. However, I am undeployable. Is it worth going for a medical retirement or will I loose money? Should i just go IRR and take regular retirement at age 60?
