Hi, I've been researching and reading the threads on here..I need help!!! Here is my short timeline
Apr 14-diagnosed with Sarcoid(taking steroids daily/every other day)
Mid January 15-met with PCM/completed MEB paperwork
10 Mar 15-got an AWESOME assignment!!!!
2 Apr 15-went to PEBLO to see how this would affect assignment(informed MEB was not started)
7 April 15-CC letter completed and sent to PEBLO
10 Apr 15- package sent to SGH in MTF

My question for you all is, has anyone dealt with this condition and how soon can I expect DPAMN to make a decision? And what is the chance I will get RTD and make my RNLTD or a bit later? Thanks
 
Yes I do! Spoke with my PEBLO today, she said the package is with SGH.
 
According to AFI 36-2110 code 37 is titled Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) or Physical Evaluation Board (PEB) and is defined as: Member deferred from PCS reassignment pending results of MEB or PEB. Deferment Period or Effective date: Regardless of date of availability on AF Form 469, Duty Limiting Condition Report, no assignment action should be taken until Airman is returned to duty through AFPC/DPAMM and code 37 is removed by the MTF as Airman may be unfit for retention.

Based on above information you have a high probability that your assignment will be cancelled. Always a chance that it won't be but be prepared that it is.
 
If you have DAV 37 assigned, you will not be PCSing. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but until you are medically cleared, you wont be able to PCS, go TDY, or even take leave without notifying the PEBLO.

I'm hopeful that I will be returned to duty, thus removing the code 37. I understand that I can't pcs with a code 37. I'm in the initial RILO stage and have asked for inputs on how long the process takes....I'm waiting on my package to get to AFPC.
 
Update:spoke with PEBLO on Monday and she nonschalantly told me that my package was still with SGH and would probably be there another 2 wks. Is there any way to get some fire under those folks; the did sit on my paperwork for 2 mths....
 
So I think I have the WORST PEBLO. My 1st Shirt called today, she just received my package from SGH, should be sent tomorrow.....RIDICULOUS.
 
Have you met your PEBLO in person? I was frustrated with communication, but when I went in for an informal visit with the PEBLO, I saw just how bad this process is. A huge office with tons of paperwork in different stages of the MEB, meetings with the wing every week, constant calls from leadership down through the members... I honestly garnered a ton of sympathy for someone managing such a ridiculous role alone.

Also, you don't want an angry PEBLO, so try to treat them with respect and check in every few days by phone/e-mail.
 
Absolutely cajual!!!! I'm just getting not good info and when I call back, my package is still sitting on her desk. I am totally trying to stay in good graces with her, but I think I've already made her mad....I have not called back and I really try not to bug her, but it is her job and this is my career.
 
Got my results today..return to duty with C2 code!!!!! This is what I wanted!!!!!

No I'm not leaving, I want to stay engaged, I'll have do this again for the next RILO!!
