BCNR - Medical Retirement

Hello everyone,

I am a USMC veteran. I separated in September, 2018.
I have a service-connected disability for only PTSD of 100% P&T (through the VA)
I am discharged with an honorable.
I submitted form DD-149 to BCNR. I should have at least been looked at for a MED review because I have on my military records that I have PTSD.
I have also attempted my life on multiple occasions (while AD) and have had multiple instances where I was in the ER due to my PTSD, escorted out of work to the ER, and was SIQ for almost a month because I was unfit. All in my records before separating.

TL;DR
With all that being said, my command at that time pushed me to separate without MED review because they deemed my PTSD “a waste of time” and “did not want to deal with me.”

My goal: to get medically retired through BCNR.

Questions:
Do I have a strong case for the injustice?
Do I have to get evaluated in IDES or would BCNR use LDES since I am out of AD.
Is there anything else I need to do, or wait for a decision from BCNR?

Thank you for your time and consideration,

***P.S I hope I made sense. This is all very new to me.***

I encourage you to apply, if you haven't already, to the BCNR. Gather evidence that supports your claims. Keep the originals.
