Bilateral ratings

Hello does the VA rate each diagnosis separately? For my knee I have Bilateral Shin Splints, bilateral Patellofemoral pain syndrome, and tendinitis. Will they all reeceive separate ratings with the bilateral factor?

The bilateral factor will compensate a veteran for the additional loss of their ability to function due to both sides of their body being affected.
