C&P over

Finally I have completed my C&P.
My ROM for my back was 42 forward extension 20 to right 15 to left and 8 to back and 20 for my twisting. I read somewhere that they are supposed to round the numbers to the nearest 5 degree. If that is the case I am looking at 20% percent for my back alone.

My question is I have disc degeneration and spinal stenosis and after discetomy I still have leg pain. Does leg pain get rated separately? Also apparently I have high blood pressure and have to go get medicine for it, what is the rating on that?

I will have my NARSUM soon and I am trying to make sure I know what I should be getting according to the regulations. Thanks for any help.

Piece of advise for people going to the C&P, be polite it goes much farther than be agrumentive. A friend of mine went in there and fought with his doctor and he is finding out what happens.

Yes it needs to be listed separately. It could make as much as a 20% difference in your rating. My initial NARSUM only listed DDD, but nothing about the right leg pain. I appealed and had them add the leg pain as a separate unfitting condition on my NARSUM.

If you get to this point and need me to send you the appeal memo I did, just let me know.

Good Luck.

Do you have any numbness or cramping? If so try to get an EMG and nerve conduction study done then submit the results as new evidence. I've got problems throughout my spine and believe it or not, it looks like the nerve damage is going to be a larger percentage than the ROM limitations on the spine. For example, if you were to recieve minimal ratings on both legs of 10% then the bilateral factor kicks in. In my case in the cervical spine I should receive 30% based on ROM, and 20% for my lumbar spine based on ROM, but I have moderate nerve damage to the radial, ulnar, and median nerves of my arms. I am still fighting to have an EMG and nerve conduction study done on my left leg.
