Camp Lejeune timeline

how did you find out what they rated your referred condition? did you ask about it specifically or did you know what you were rated for all your conditions?

You learn your entire rating proposal at the end, along with your boarded condition. They hand you the entire decision letter breaking down their rationale.

The VA finalize your claim yet? They still haven’t for me lol. They told me to contact my MSC for updates, but I’ve been out “officially” for 2 weeks, with terminal for like 2 months lol. Dumbass system.

Yes. I posted a separate timeline with post-sep updates here:

I'm living well now. Going to school and sustaining myself on VA payments, college housing allowance, and unemployment while jobs elude me lol. Bought a mattress yesterday and it's coming next week... so glad to ditch the air mattress.

Wanted to let y'all know:

If you retire and you give TRICARE Prime a shot and don't like it, you can switch to Select and have it backdated to your date of retirement so long as it's in that window of eligibility. I believe the window is 90 days.

I had a try before you buy type experience with PRIME, and after hearing some of the advantages of Select from @Provis in passing I decided to see if I could swap over early after my primary care was being very annoying about redoing the last year and a half of treatment I had in the military. I was surprised that I could switch honestly. They're going to refund the payment I made for PRIME up to today's date. 3 months of coverage for my wife and I totaled 298... for self managed care that's hard to beat.

So I'm waiting on one signature to be ready to be sent to the PEB. My MSC told me today that im at the DRAS proposed rating stage. Does that mean soon I can start calling the V.A about getting emailed my rating??
