I’m currently serving in the army reserves since 2018. I was active for 8 years since 2010 and I’ve been receiving 60% va disability. My question is is it possible for me to MEB from the reserves. I’m going to see my va clinic ASAP because my lower back pain and headaches have started to be more frequent and since my last PHA the interviewer over the phone recommended for me to go see about a possible ptsd diagnosis following the results of my pha and other medical issues. I have 8 yrs active duty 3 yrs in the reserves and I just re-enlisted this past January 2021. I also have been on permanent profile since 2013 for compartment syndrome and flat feet, my profile was updated in 2015-16 due to constant lower back pain so I can’t ruck or where a vest.

You can be MEB from the reserves but understand they will only MEB you for conditions that they consider to make you unable to perform your duties.

So can I start going to my va clinic to get seen my unit is in Atlanta and I’m currently 4 hours from there. Also I just received an email from the reserves stating that the pha appointment recommended I get a revaluation on my permanent profile because it may be some issues I have that need to be documented in the profile..for example my lower back pain headaches and a possible ptsd diagnosis.

PHA will give you P3 profile pending what u and the doctor talk about
