I've just started to get better with my condition and I was wondering if I could end the medboard process if i am able to prove that I am getting better? I realized that I want to Re-enlist and was wondering if there is anything I can do so that I am not medically separated. I still have not received any findings but its been up there for about a month and a half. Any help is appreciated.

You don't have any control over that. You will just have to wait it out.

What happens if your “improved” condition(s) deteriorate back to your previous pain level(s) before attaining 20 good years?

Doesn’t sound logical that the VA would hear “you’re fit for duty”, but later say, no, not really.

Just remember, Every action has a consequence

Depending on your rank and branch of service you can waive a PEB, but you would be out, not reenlisted. The PEB might return you to duty.
