Can my DoD rating be adjusted after EAS? possible but undiagnosed extra NARSUM condition

Hi, I’m in the VA C&P phase of IDES for my shoulder. Last week I had the last appointment with my ortho provider, they told me that I could have TOS but that it is outside of their scope to diagnose it. Personally, I would prefer to deal with it post EAS/medboard, because my life has been on hold for the past 3 years. I’d just like to know if there is the possibility to adjust my DoD rating after the medboard if I do in fact get diagnosed with TOS, because right now my NARSUM only refers me to IDES for pain.

No way to adjust ratings after you get out for DOD%. The VA rating associated with it can go up and down after but the DOD is locked in forever. If something is wrong I would work on getting it right. Go see a doctor that can diagnose TOS. Appeal at every stage stating TOS should also be unfitting such as the NARSUM stage. That way when you get to the FPEB the board can see you have been arguing that all along. And as always I recommend private counsel. Its very hard to do this on your own and JAG is there to help but they have too many cases to put in the time needed to ensure every Soldier gets the best resutls. I will send you references in case you are interested. They are expensive but worth it in my opinion.
