Does anyone know if it's possible to have your own doctor perform the DBQ for your C&P exam if you're undergoing a MEB?

If so, what was your experience with this?

I see a sleep medicine physician off base and since they know me well, I think it would be more convenient and comfortable to have them complete the form instead of a stranger.

They can, but the VA does not have to accept it. I had several completed before entering IDES. It took a while for the PEBLO to run them up for approval. In the end they were denied. Also the type of doctor matters and must match the DBQ requirements. It can be used as supporting evidence.
