What is the next timeline for me? I’m currently on baby leave, will that affect my case?

Have you checked to see if your VA claim letter is available on the app? That and finding out if you are unfit should be what comes next. I got accepted on the 11th of Oct and I got my VA letter Nov 11. Being on leave shouldn't cause problems if you've got access to the email/phone they'd use to reach out to you.

All you should have to do now is give the VA a call and request them to email the letter to you. That'll give you your VA ratings. You're probably in the QA stage.

I called, they sent the proposed ratings to me, haven’t heard anything from anyone besides that. Any clue on how long QA is taking these days?

From what I've seen on the forum stuff seems to be averaging like two months-ish at QA. I got told it'll take about 45 days for mine by the peb but that is the ballpark figure other people keep getting told. When did your VA claim close? Mine closed on the 11th of November and I'm expecting to be done around early Feb since that's around the 45 working day mark.

Closed December 1.

Sounds like you'll be getting your stuff a couple weeks after I do. I hope it goes quick for you.

Curious about this, I was referred in late October and I was told I'd need to wait approximately 3 months before I got "accepted by the PEB" and was found unfit. What confuses me is I'm told any and all examinations of unfitting conditions will be done after I am apparently "accepted". Does this sound off? This is going on in Lejeune.

All of your VA exams should be done before your Narsum. The Narsum getting signed off by you after said exams is what your Peblo needs to send your package up to the Peb. You shouldn't be going back and doing any exams after you get accepted since all of your exams are sent up with your Narsum. I will say the three month timeline is probably realistic in terms of doing all your VA exams and all the other portions of the process.

That's the weird part: I was told my exams will not be held at all until after the acceptance. I will receive my legal and VA brief post acceptance according to my PEBLO/contact rep.

This may just be a verbage thing. You have to get referred and have that accepted, that may be the acceptance they're speaking of and not the acceptance down the line with the PEB. It shouldn't take three months for that though, my docs had that paperwork done fairly quickly. Has anyone told you that your referral is complete?

This is the difference that I'm talking about. You should get the same notifications in your MOL

Neither of those populate in my messages on MOL. The only place that shows my medboard info to any degree is LIMDU Smart, and even that only has my PCM's signature/NARSUM/restrictions. As far as I can see from Genesis, LIMDU Smart, and my physical copy of my medical records (I'm getting a complete disc release Wednesday) it's only my PCM's input. I'm seeing my PEBLO in an hour for an informal explanation. I'll report back.

Spoke to the PEBLO, he said that because of caseload and holidays things have been delayed considerably. It was explained to me that I am in the "Pre-DES phase" and I am awaiting a doctor of higher authority to review my entire medical record to determine acceptance to enter the MEB phase. This confused me before it was explained because this is a nonexistent phase in any manual or reference to the timeline of this stuff. Appreciate y'all's help.

Sounds about right. Once the doc has signed off and your paperwork is routed up that is when you'll get that referral notification. After that you'll end up talking to your MSC and getting your VA exams scheduled. If you get ahold of your LIMDU coordinator or the doc who did your referral appointment they may be able to get in touch with that signing authority. That's a hard maybe though. Once they have reviewed your record and signed off on it that's when you'll get that referral notification in MOL. The acceptance notification will come after you sign your Narsum and your peblo routes it up. Good luck, I hope it goes quickly for you.

i got this message that my case was accepted by the PEB for action. About how long after this did it take to get fit/unfit findings? Also where on the VA should I go to see this claim tracker? Because that is awesome. With the va.gov app and the website it basically just tells me a claim doesn't exist. And when I call they say it is in the decision phase. Any help would be awesome. thank you!

what website are you going for the claim tracker? Because va.gov says my claim doesn't exist no matter where I look
