Did you get your results yet? I haven’t spoken to Jeff as I don’t want to pester too many people through the process. I know the 4th of July probably slowed things down, I haven’t gotten my findings as of now.

Yup I got my findings on the July 2nd signed for them same day my claim had closed on the VA app since feb 8th so maybe that’s why

Seems like things are held up at the PEB right now.

Completed C&P: March 26th
Signed Narsum: May 8th
PEB accepted: June 20th
Case closed in VA: July 17th
Proposal letter emailed to me: July 18th

Spoke to peblo and he said just waiting on dod% to come back..
 
Has anyone been able to contact Jeff in the last 3 weeks? Or does anyone have another POC for the PEB? I am at 63 days since PEB acceptance and 86 days since the case was sent. Haven’t gotten any answers to calls.
 
I was able to get a hold of him this morning, (571) 442-0592. Have you gotten your proposals?

Yeah I got my proposed rating from the va a month and a half ago. I’ve called that number probably 10 times over the last month and he hasn’t picked up. All between 9 and 10 in the morning
 
Dang i would honestly just keep trying, ive seen people call up to 15 times in one day lol. my call rang for a second then he answered and i called right at 9am his time, im on west coast.

Yeah I’m probably gonna call again at some point. Seems like he’s really hard to get a hold of lol

EAS populated to 8/30/2024
Now i just have to do final checkout and finishing touches. Not sure if my command will let me take PTAD being that im so close to EAS. They might just want me to stay and make sure everything is done right.

Do you know what took so long between case closed and findings? My case was closed yesterday and I am hoping for a quicker turn around than that.

Have you been found fit or unfit? It all depends on that if the Medical Board has asked for your rating from the VA
 
I don't know. My MEB found me unfit for two conditions. Don't know the PEB finding yet.

If the PEB request your rating from the VA you were found unfit once the VA sends that info to PEB it will take about 2 to 3 weeks to get your findings.

It was supposed to come back in early July but for some reason it went right back to the PEB again for some kind of reevaluation/reconsideration

New EAS: Updated on August 1st 24 for September 29th 24. Signed findings on the 26th so it only took 6 days to populate.
 
Question for people who have started getting payments through the VA, how long did it take after your retirement date? And how soon does this second and final claim open up to where you can see it on the website?
