E-5 Aegis FC Referred to MEB/PEB for Panic Disorder w/o Agoraphobia. Claimed an additional 10 issues with VA.


First c&p exam: 07July2015
Last c&p exam : 27July2015
Local MEB finished : 28Aug2015
Signed NARSUM : 02Sep2015
Packaged Sent to IPEB: 06Sep2015
Package Received IPEB: 08Sep2015

Been waiting since 08Sep2015 and PEBLO says status hasn't changed in her system. Starting to freak out a bit because of this "Tech Refresh" BS and their backlog. PEBLO told me they were only behind 2-3 Weeks but I've heard up to 180 days :(. I have an amazing job lined up for February which my PEBLO said a month ago would be no problem. I called the PEB and was told they couldn't provide any information to members and to contact PEBLO or Medical.

I was never able to get an answer out of the PEB. Most they ever told me was that my case was still there.
 
Yah I guess some people were able to get specifics and some got what we got. I just wish I could at least have an update . this process sucks for people with anxiety issues lmao

I understand. One of my referred conditions is Generalized Anxiety Disorder which apparently was combat related. I'm always trying to figure out how to get more information. This process needs a lot of improving.
 
im about to be on that step too, I'm supposed to find out the MEB decision this week. Also have the "Generalized anxiety disorder" honestly sounds like its the " we don't know why you have anxiety disorder "
 
Yah it is a shitty process especially when you have other people relying on you... Wife kids etc. Trying to plan the best I can, but its hard to do it with no real date.
 
My PEBLO said my package is still at the IPEB. That makes it almost 2 months. She says she expects it to be finished within a week, if that counts for anything.
 
it will come in good time. I was waiting for 3 months. I feel your stress.

Awesome, our timelines are similar, my package got sent to PEB September 17, and I am still waiting to hear back on a fit or unfit finding. Hopefully soon, this is definitely stressful in lieu of finding jobs, etc.
 
Awesome man. Still nothing from the VA, but the holidays but a delay on the turn around. Hope you hear something soon.

Mine was sent Sept 17 as well.
 
I'm going to follow the two of you on here lmfao. Our timelines are so close, I hope for all of us to hear something soon.
 
Also, the PEBLO said I should request 40-45 days out from when I sign my findings so that it doesn't get sent back? Is that a real thing lol?
 
I havent heard that yet. Timelines are definitely close. I'm getting more anxious by the day.
