Clearing Brief Without Approved Leave

I received my orders on JAN 25th and the NLT clearing brief date is JAN 29th. As soon as I received my orders I immediately went to my S1 and put in leave. Now my unit was in the field from Monday through Thursday and came back Friday. So the issue is that since I have over 30 days it has to go to the BC. My 1sg and commander have already signed and approved their portion of my leave it is now currently sitting at battalion. My question is since my clearing brief is literally on Monday at 0900. What will happen if my leave doesn't get approved before the time I need to attend my clearing brief? Would I still be able to go the following day, or do I have to amend my orders now that I'm not attending the clearing brief by the posted date on the orders? There is a clearing brief at 0900 to 0925 every Monday-Friday and you must have orders and approved DA31 to attend. My NLT off post/take leave date is FEB 12th. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated

Talk to Soldiers counsel Monday.

Talk to your 1SG and commander to expedite getting your BC to sign. Worst-case scenario, use your BC's or CSM's open door policy and explain that you need this in order to out process in accordance with your separation instructions.

I would attend the brief regardless and just explain the situation. What are they going to do? Yell?

Your chain of command is bound by regulation to assist you in expediting your clearing process in the case of a medical board separation.
