I was wanting to start a thread of "APPROVED" as per SSA guideline of disabilities.
I understand it is sometimes a CASE BY CASE basis, but it would be nice to know of which conditions "can" be able to receive SSDI benefits:
So far I have seen the following approved for SSDI benefits:
1) Total loss of one or more limb (hand, arm, leg, etc.)
2) Total/partial loss of one or more major organs (Bladder, kidney, heart transplant etc)
3) Total/Severe partial loss of vision.
I would really like to know about orthopedic conditions such as fractured ankle, asl/pcl/plc/meniscus knee repair, hip surgery/replacement, etc.
Thank a lot for everyone's info.
