Not much happened this week.

PRE-IDES:
  • 16 Jul 25 – Referred to AMRO
  • Early Aug 25 – First contact with PEBLO; NARSUM received
  • 8 Aug 25 – CIS signed (Retain); submitted to DPMNR for IRILO; 37 applied (Day 0)
  • End of Sep 25 – Inpatient admission (MH)
  • 26 Sep 25 – DPMNR requested additional documentation (Day 49)
  • 29 Sep 25 – DPMNR results: RTD ALC-2; 37 to be removed (Day 52)
  • 2 Oct 25 – Case resubmitted to IRILO for re-consideration (Day 55)
  • 6 Oct 25 - DPMNR results: Full MEB requested (Day 59)
IDES:
  • 20 Oct 25 - Case submitted to VA (Day 0)
  • 22 Oct 25 - First contact w/ MSC; VA claim appointment scheduled (Day 2)

Not much happened this week. Only the sleep study results (submitted to the C&P examiner's company.)

How many claims did you have? I called the VA today and they received all of the evidence for my claims. Last c&p exam was 21 Nov and they received everything yesterday..

I had about 20 for general C&P.
Called Optum earlier today and they apparently did not finish the thing.

Our timelines are very similar. PEBLO told me i should receive my 618 on Monday or Tuesday. lets hang in there. did you call the VA and ask?

Yes. Called Optum first, then VA. MSC checked his side, sees everything, and said he’ll push it to the PEBLO on Monday.
Grateful for all people I spoke with today (Optum, VA and MSC.)

I will want to see my DBQ from one exam. IMHO it was a completely inadequate exam.

PEBLO said my DBQs were received and sent to the PCM for addendum, and they’ll notify me when it’s time to review my package.
Is it acceptable to ask for copies of the DBQs now, or better to wait?

When you go in to sign your 618 u can ask for them, or you can do like me and ask your PEBLO to send them before just for "Planning ahead with the backlog". Most peblos are fine with it just tell them u wanna plan ahead and make sure your information was captured correctly by the examiner

Just asked mine as well. Just curious.. what timeframe are you looking to get out? My 180 day timelime from the day I got my FL4 is 25 Apr
 
Honestly for you guys the biggest thing is if the next govt shutdown happens..

Frankly, I don’t have much hope right now. In theory, my window is mid-March to mid-April—but with the shutdown, who knows what will happen.

I’m praying I don’t have another SI/SA relapse. I’ve already had several pain and GI flare-ups recently. On top of that, I accidentally took the wrong sleep meds twice in a row. Can't even take care of most simple things.

Got my DBQs from my PEBLO.

Wow! Quite a few weird things in them. Things I never went through/never mentioned. Yet they were attributed to me.
When will I be able to address them? Prior to signing 618? After that?
Do raters look at boxes, or in the narratives in DBQs?
 
A mini update - the MEB here was like an overnight thing.
I was able to schedule a meeting with the PEBLO, and hopefully by Friday the package will be sent to PEB.

yup! actually once the local meb recieves the dbqs/narsum, they have 3 days to complete it.
