Curious what the timeline is to find out rating/fit or unfit from IPEB...

My PEB packet was recieved by D.C. on 6 October. I have one disqualifying condition, and 13 service connected (non combat). I recieved a call from a lady from VA asking me if I could find my entrance physical and report of medical history from MEPS when I enlisted so she could work on my proposed rating (they were not in my med records, but luckily I found them on my OMPF). I remember my PEBLO saying the turn around time depends on your case, so I am hoping someone with a similar case could spare some useful information on about how long it took from the time your packet was recieved by DC until you were found fit or unfit, and if found unfit, how long it took to get processed out. I have a potential job lined up depending on how long it will take to finalize all of this stuff.

Fit or unfit I think they say they have 10 business days. Turn around time does vary by case but you have one condition As for an estimate I would say you have another 4-6 months.
 
Geez! I talked to my PEBLO about it. She told me currently the wait for the fit or unfit finding is 3-4 months from the time it is recieved at D.C., then if an unfit finding is given, the whole process is taking 6-9 months from the time it is recieved in D.C. Mine has only been up there for almost 2 months now, and I'm still waiting :(
 
3 to 4 months!!! Wow, I got my unfit in about 5 days. My packet went to TX though. D.C. must really be backed up. Hopefully it will go quicker for you. Good luck.
 
For anybody who is curious, My paperwork made it back just under three months after it was recieved at the PEB. I was found unfit with a rating of 20 percent army, with severance, and a combined VA rating of 80 percent all service connected disabilities. I am still on the fence about signing the paperwork because I am forfeiting a lot of benefits which I feel I am entitled to due to the injuries I am being separated for. Half of me wants to say forget it, sign it, and get on with my life, but the other half wants to fight the system. GRRR...
