Current status...case is at IPEB/Timeline? Conditions?

Hello all,

First off let me introduce myself. I am in the Air National Guard, hit 20 years in November. I am also dual status /federal Technician. My case seems to be different then all that I have seen on here, but maybe because it is Air guard? Anyway all they did was take my extensive medical file and picked the top three ailments, but there are more...no signing a Narcsum, no C&P exams ( or does that come later?) not even sure what a C&P exam is..
Here is my timeline
MEB & DAWG- 8 November, 2014
Narcsum and file sent to NGB - Dec 15, 2014
NGB forwarded to A1 to send to AFPC - Jan 15, 2015
And now waiting for IPEB decision...anybody on the same timeline?
Also Commanders statement recommended medical discharge, Med Clinic agreed, 456 has no chem gear, pushing pulling, running and bending at the waist, and NGB did not come back with a ALC code and forwarded it to IPEB.
Does that seem like a good reason to suspect the rating will be unfit? (I'm not fighting it)
Last but not least anybody want to take a guess on what my ratings might come back as?? This is from my NARCSUM
1. Major Depression but controlled with medicine - minimal impact on unit
2. Intestinal Malabsorption after Nissen Fundoplication and hiatal hernia repair surgery - substantial impact on unit due to gastric dumping and missing a lot of Technician work and had to go on the Family medical leave act- too much LWOP to even think about
3. Hamstring snapped during PT test. LOD..been on a profile for over two years...cannot run, only walk scar tissue up pretty bad and if I try to run , I limp for a few days after. - they said substantial impact on unit. Any idea on ratings or unfit. Thank you for everyone's help on here. Right now I am really stressed out not knowing what my future might be....

I'm Air Guard as well and going through the IDES. Your case is raising the hair on the back of my neck a bit, because it's not the same process that I have gone through so far. The scary thing is that you haven't been to the VA for your C&P exams, which is a mandatory part of the DES process. First things first, are you sure you're going through the DES and NOT the "Non-Duty DES"? Non-Duty means they are going to put you out with no benefits on the military side. I'm assuming you've been assigned a PEBLO?

The Air Guard/NGB are very particular about Lines of Duty and service connecting things. I had to fight several battles with them over my own LODs. Their initial take on my injuries were not to service connect them, deny the LODs, and medically retire me on the Non-Duty DES.

I'll admit that I don't know the process for ANG, but it doesn't sound correct either way as I would imagine you are still going through the IDES process.
Take a look at the Case Timelines Forum if you haven't already. There isn't an ANG specific forum, but the Army National Guard forum may have some useful info.

I know that's not much help, but that might at least narrow down some more questions for you along with what Chuckie said above.
