I’m only a few days behind you!

Awesome! Let me know if you get your rating before me lol. I hope I get mine within the next week or so. I got a email to renew my lease, but I'm not staying in the area so I'd like to get this done before 1 Nov when it expires.

Absolutely! I’ll keep you updated with my case. I’m trying to get out of here before it snows, but I don’t think that’s going to happen at this rate.

Have either of you checked your VA.gov claim status recently? And if so when does it say it was updated last?

I've noticed a trend (maybe a trend maybe a coincidence) that it gets a new updated date about a week or so before ratings are delivered. Maybe it's nothing. I'm about 27 days behind you. Talked to my Peblo Monday and she told me that my package is still at AFPC and hasn't been pushed to VA yet. Said afpc is still backed up

I check VA.gov multiple times a day haha
It’s still stuck on “gathering evidence”, since 28 June 2022. I called my PEBLO last week, and was told that the VA started my ratings on 11 August 2022.

I do too. Minimum twice a day.

Mine says preparing decision.

The eBenefits feature (might have a different name now; I have not discussed it in years) is not directly updated by VA employees.

It collects information from other VA systems and uses that info to update statuses.

Occasionally, the info presented is confusing…

Edited to add post from five years ago, another site:

“It is a VA operated system, but its output is based on data received from other VA systems, primarily VBMS (Veterans Benefits Management System). That is the reason I referred to it as a pirate system...it takes from others.”

Regards,
Ron

I check daily aswell and the last update was June 3rd unfortunately. I'll follow up with my PEBLO next week if I don't see any update on the VA site.

Good Luck!! Hope you get 100% VA and over 30% DoD!

Seems like people are averaging about 3.5 months at the VA right now. Hope that’s the case for me. I was assigned to a rater on 6 September.

Got some bad news today from PEBLO. 60 VA/10 DOD.
Apnea 30 - Accurate
Mental health 30 - Inaccurate. 1 Addition symptoms would qualify me for 50. Main reason why I'm on this medication is to help combat the symptom/s which weren't documented...
Tinnitus 10
Neck 10 - very inaccurate. Was expecting 30-50 due to being unable to bend neck anymore. Have to shift entire body to look around. Had 8 neck injections recently and surgery is on the table.
R Leg 10- very inaccurate. Was my unfit condition. Knee surgery made it worse. At least the pain prior was tolerable to an extent.. Issue has affected eligibility to safely drive. Wife laughed at this rating and thought I was joking since she sees my everyday struggles.
Migraines- 0 Examiner didn't mark prostrating enough though I told her it debilitates me. Mainly due to neck pain.
The rest were secondary issues due to neck and leg pain. Left leg, back and hips hurt more and more every day, because of my right leg.
Also Right leg put me on Admin duties only earlier this year. Neck/Migraines medically DNIF back in 2018 which forced me back into my old AFSC.
Already reached out to ODC and gonna see what they have to say.

Any idea how long it takes for DoD to pay out the lump sum for separation

I want to say it should be after terminal from what I was told.
Also my PEBLO said the ODC will only help DoD reconsideration. If that's the case once im on terminal im going to immediately start looking into refiling my VA claims.

Nice! I was just wondering. VA finished my claims today so I’m waiting to find out what they rated me and what the DoD rated me
